Grill Lobster Tail Recipe

Grilled lobster tail recipes can be as unique as you wish. Creating grilled lobster tail recipes are so easy you will wonder why you did not try to produce your own dishes before. As soon as the shell is red and the tender juicy meat is white or opaque it is ready to serve.

All you have to do to create unique grilled lobster tail recipes is to crack the shell, open the shell butterfly style and then expose as much of the meat as possible. Now you can improvise & add your own ingredients. A lot of people love to use melted butter and lemon or lime juice. But, you can also use pineapple juice with a touch of garlic salt. There are many different ingredients and spices that will go wonderful on lobster tails. What about soy sauce or Worcestershire sauce? Think of the possibilities.

You need the following ingredients:

  • lobster tails,
  • diced green onions,
  • crushed garlic cloves,
  • 4 tablespoons of olive oil,
  • 1 teaspoon of sea salt,
  • 1 teaspoons of dried thyme,
  • black pepper,
  • 1 cup of pineapple juice,
  • 1 cup of white wine.
  • Combine all these ingredients. Prepare your lobster tails by cracking them and putting them butterfly style. Place them in a dish, and pour some marinade over the lobster tails.

    Turn the lobster tails to coat entirely, you should also turn them about every 15 minutes to make sure the marinade soaks into the tender meat. Marinate for about one hour. You can grill your lobster tails until desired doneness, basting with the marinade while grilling or broiling.

    This is a quick and easy way to prepare grilled lobster tails. The best recipes are ones where you improvise little bit & use your own favorite ingredients. You can always use lemon or lime juice instead of pineapple. You may enjoy adding a bit of hot sauce or other ingredient such as green peppers for your own unique flavor. Just remember not to overcook. That is the secret to a great lobster tail feast. The lobster tails will also cook a little after you remove them from the heat. The heat is being held in and will cook just a tad more.
